Spend a few minutes actually looking at the Desert Sled and its differences to the rest of the model range become more apparent. While you’ll still find the same basic engine and frame, Ducati went bigger and better on the suspension; not only is it sturdier but it’s got far more travel at both ends, and is fully adjustable. Working combination with a bigger front wheel, the suspension lifts the bike right up off the ground for plenty more clearance than usual which means only one thing: going off-road.
